Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join us as a Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2 based in Salt Lake City, UT.
This role is for 4th shift (12 hours Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
What you'll get to do:
Performs a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products.
Performs tasks such as drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping; uses precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance. Assembles, disassembles, repairs and reassembles precision assemblies and corrects malfunctions.
May assemble and modifies prototype precision units for engineering personnel.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate, read, understand, work using a microscope, work with mechanical small parts, fiber optic cables, and follow standard operation procedures or assembly instructions.
Basic Qualifications for the Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2:
High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications for the Precision Electromechanical Assembler 2:
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Soldering certification or experience
Previous experience working closely with Test and Manufacturing techs/engineers
Experience using a microscope
Experience with Fiber Optic Cables
Experience with mechanical small parts
