We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer for our flagship XenServer hypervisor to maintain a technical relationship with our hardware-vendor partners, develop new virtualisation capabilities, and resolve discovered defects. As part of the Partnership Engineering team you will be responsible for liaising with tier 1 OEMs and hardware vendors to enable XenServer to work with current and future hardware in the Enterprise Networking and Server fields. Additionally, you will work as part of a small team focused on projects and features outside of our Partner needs, within our core technologies. We work with upstream Open Source communities and projects, such as the Xen Project. You'll join a skilled and friendly team of software developers who work to deliver a highly reliable, resilient, and performant experience for our customers.
If you’re looking for a job that involves being the bridge between engineers, the business, and partners, yet with the opportunity to continue to apply your technical expertise, this position is for you! You’ll enjoy helping to bring people together, “translating” between technical and non-technical staff, and using your broad industry experience, knowledge of our partners, and XenServer to provide solutions for our customers.
