What You Will Do

As an Engineer II, you will support the analysis of existing processes and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity across IT operations. You will contribute to the implementation of automation solutions using tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, and ServiceNow, helping streamline repetitive tasks and improve service delivery.

You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to support process optimization, create dashboards and reports for performance tracking, and assist in ensuring compliance with IT and industry standards. This role emphasizes hands‑on execution, learning, and collaboration under guidance from senior engineers and managers.

What You Will Need

You will collaborate with operations, delivery, development partners, and global teams to support TJX’s technology objectives. This role requires curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment.

You will engage with global product teams, third‑party vendors, and operational stakeholders to help improve system availability and stability while learning to apply TJX standards, processes, and recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical training/work experience.

Experience

  • Approximately 1+ year of professional experience in software development, automation, or application support.

Technical Skills

  • Foundational knowledge of developing or maintaining scripts/workflows using automation tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar.

  • Basic understanding of ServiceNow workflows for IT service management and automation.

  • Exposure to integrating automation with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.

  • Ability to create simple dashboards and reports using ServiceNow or Excel.

  • Interest in identifying opportunities to improve IT processes and workflows.

Process Knowledge

  • Foundational understanding of incident and change management concepts.

  • Basic awareness of ITIL processes and continuous improvement practices.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams while following defined standards.

  • Experience documenting processes and automation workflows with guidance.

Soft Skills

  • Positive, open‑minded, and proactive attitude.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong customer‑first mindset and willingness to learn.
