Physical Therapist – Pediatrics/Acute Care – Per Diem - Cornell Campus

The Pediatric Rehabilitation Therapy Team is integral in achieving that mission. As the only New York hospital nationally ranked in all 8 pediatric specialties, we have an opportunity for an experienced therapist to join our team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical skills and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of pediatric patients across the continuum of acute care settings. Experience treating medically complex children, including PICU Early Mobilization, is required and NICU experience is a plus.

This is a per diem position working 8:00am-4:00pm and providing weekend and holiday coverage.

Preferred Criteria

3 years’ experience with pediatric patients PICU experience (0-21 years)
Acute care experience, including PICU competency
Pediatric NDT Certification
APTA Membership
Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Required Criteria

BS Degree in Physical Therapy
NYS Physical Therapy License
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
