About the Role

To perform end-to-end registration, assessment and settlement of minor claims within defined turnaround times, ensuring compliance with policy coverage, procedures and quality benchmarks.

The role leverages digital claims systems and workflow tools to support accurate decision-making, operational efficiency and consistent service delivery, while demonstrating adaptability to evolving processes, automation and ways of working.

  • Register, update and maintain claims accurately in core claims systems by verifying completeness and validity of documents received.

  • Escalate complex, ambiguous, or high-risk cases and liaise with senior team members for appropriate guidance.

  • Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and data accuracy to support
    internal controls, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

  • Utilize digital tools, workflow systems, and automation solutions effectively to improve processing efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on process gaps, system enhancements, or automation opportunities.

  • Demonstrate adaptability by learning new systems, tools, and ways of
    working as claims processes evolve.

  • Support a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and service
    excellence within the claims team.

  • Perform other operational tasks or duties assigned to support team objectives and business needs.

Requirements

  • Education qualification in Biomedical, Biotechnology, Biology, Nutrition, Dietitics or related fields

  • Fresh graduates and junior Medical Lab Technologists are welcomed to apply, training will be provided.

  • Sound knowledge of medical terminologies and procedures

  • Ability to read and write Mandarin Chinese will be an added advantage but not a mandatory requirement, to review documentations that may be in Chinese.

  • Good communication and decision-making skills

  • Self-motivated and customer-driven

  • Sound problem solving skill
