SUMMARY: 

As the Manager of Wholesale, you will be responsible for strategically driving growth in our wholesale channel by identifying opportunities to expand business with existing accounts, as well as onboarding and growing new accounts. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to shape processes and drive initiatives in this emerging area of business.

Reports to: Director, Business Development

Location: LA Based (in office 1-2 days a week)

What You’ll Do:

  • Achieve sales, margin, and inventory goals for the wholesale business by executing comprehensive sales strategies
  • Develop account-specific seasonal product strategies to optimize assortment performance. Lead all market meetings and showroom appointments.
  • Monitor account sales and inventories weekly and monthly; assess risks and opportunities; create solutions. Report on sales and revenue weekly, flag any risk and help to influence future forecasts 
  • Forecast at the account and product level, work collaboratively with internal and external planning teams to place orders and align inbound with account demand
  • Lead the sales order process to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries through order book management, inventory level analysis, and communication with the fulfillment team. 
  • Communicate on a regular basis with wholesale partners on business challenges & opportunities, upcoming milestones, and status on new initiatives  
  • Have a deep understanding of Parachute product trends in retail partners - be consistently reviewing sales reports to optimize business and shift future strategies 
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with merchandising, design, planning, marketing and fulfillment teams
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with key accounts to drive mutual growth and success
  • Create and document new processes to make the B2B team more efficient. 

Who You Are:

  • Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in wholesale management, with a track record of success in driving sales growth and managing client relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative in creating and refining processes
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of wholesale industry trends, competitors, and best practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Netsuite and SPS experience a plus

Parachute takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. The estimated pay range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000.
