We are recruiting a ‘Marketing Associate’ to be based in our Belgian affiliate in Diegem, Belgium.

What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will:

• Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
• Support to develop an annual marketing strategy and plan (product management and marketing activities) for and with the brand team
• Translate the brand strategy into tactical plans and go-to-market strategies
• Work in close cooperation with Brand team members to ensure optimal implementation and alignment to achieve business objectives
• Work with the cross functional brand team members to develop the promotional materials that support our strategies and are in line with EMEA strategy
• Drive motivation to Sales Force on brand aspiration (cycle and launch meetings).
• Partner with the cross-functional team on initiatives related to the brand
• Be responsible for marketing Communication and Congresses support and operation
• Monitor and implement intelligence methods to stay ahead of market trends and competitive strategies
• Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
• Maintain good relationships with key opinion leaders.
• Keep up to date according to developments in the market place.
• Represent and live the AMGEN values. 

What we expect of you

• High School and/or University Degree in marketing or a scientific field, or equivalent in experience
• A first experience in pharmaceutical sales and/or marketing is a strong plus
• Medical Devices or pharmaceutical industry experience is a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
• Hands-on & can-do mentality
• Office 365 skillset
• Knowledge of therapeutic area (Cardiology/Osteoporosis) is a strong plus
• Knowledge of marketing, finance, budgeting procedures & principles
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments and meet deadlines
• Fluency in English with Dutch and/or French as an additional language
• Curious mindset & ambition to learn & invest in yourself
