Johnson & Johnson Neurovascular, a member of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, is recruiting for a Strategic Account Specialist. This is a field based position throughout the Eastern portion of the United States. The ideal locations for this candidate is NYC; Washington D.C.; Philadelphia, PA; and Boston, Mass. This role has required travel up to 25%.

Job Summary:

The Strategic Account Specialist (SAS) will collaborate and support the Strategic Account Manager to execute Pricing Strategy and contract negotiations with the SAM.

The SAS will collaborate and support with the Strategic Account Manager in execution of Pricing Strategy and will lead “Deal Desk”. Also, the SAS utilize data and sales analytics to provide pricing and negotiation guidance to the Strategic Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with SAM to create/execute pricing strategy for GPO/IDN/Tier 4 and higher accounts​

·       Analyze pricing trends and the competitive landscape to continually improve the organization’s Business Intelligence ​

·       Lead weekly “DEALS DESK” & “CPC” meetings ​

·       Collaborate with SAM to design strategy for RFP negotiations, NPI, KPI, etc.​

·       Consistently provide progress/report outs to leadership on pricing and account strategies. (i.e QBRs, Price Trends, Sales Performance etc.) ​

·       Communicates direction for Strategic Account Management processes to FSO and ensures methods align with organizational goals and objectives.​

·       Provide guidance and or education to FSO on the utilization of Cerebro and BI tools to inform negotiation and account strategies. ​

·       Drive decision making (account strategy, IDN negotiation, etc.) based on CEREBRO and other BI tools. ​

·       Ensures governance on contractual requirements and directs activities to resolve pricing strategy and execution​

·       Understand and applies J&J’s Credo and Leadership imperatives in day-to-day interactions with the team​

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of business operations and experience

  • Experience in business analytics and sales operations 

  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States and must successfully complete a background investigation, to include a review of your driving record history.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential. 

  • A background in Finance is a plus

  • Neurovascular experience is preferred

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS:

  • Exempt position requiring the ability to establish effective work schedule that accommodates frequent disruptions to routines and flexible work hours in accomplishing objectives. 

  • Must have and maintain knowledge of healthcare industry, medical device industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends. 

  • Business analytics and operations experience in the neurovascular space and/or the medical device field is preferred.

  •  

  • Must successfully complete Company training programs. 

  • Must have valid driver’s license in the state of residence, advanced computer skills, and the ability to multitask without direct oversight of manager. 

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be willing and able to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 25%. 

  • Must have valid driver’s license in state of residence and clean driving record.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$105,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
