You’ll join a small, senior team working end-to-end on this vision — from user experience and animation polish to backend integrations of AI-driven features. This is a hands-on role with real ownership, where your technical decisions will directly shape how millions of people learn.

If you enjoy crafting smooth, responsive interfaces, aren’t afraid to dive into backend code when needed, and want to work on a product that blends AI, creativity, and education, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build and evolve user-facing apps using Expo / React Native, with a strong focus on responsiveness, motion, and feel.
• Create smooth, delightful animations and highly responsive UIs that feel great on real devices.
• Work across the stack when needed - from frontend logic to backend APIs and AI integrations.
• Help define technical direction in a small team, balancing speed with long-term quality.
• Work in a fast paced startup-like environment, without the typical downsides of startups.

WHO YOU ARE

• An experienced developer with hands-on experience building apps with Expo and React Native.
• Comfortable working on AI tool integrations, even if they introduce breaking changes every two months.
• Strong eye for responsive design, interaction details, and animation quality.
• Solid TypeScript skills and experience shipping production applications.
• Curious, collaborative, and excited about experimenting with new product ideas and AI-driven experiences.
• Someone who cares deeply about building products people genuinely love to use.
• Experienced the problem we want to solve: You have tried to learn an instrument, but you didn’t get far.

Nice to have (but not required):

• A bit of experience with Unity or C#. While you won’t be working with these technologies day-to-day, the rest of the company primarily uses them and understanding what we already have is beneficial.
