Job Summary

Job Description

Manage the distributed pricing team responsible for coordinating contracted and non-contracted pricing for Medline customers regarding branded products and SOP documentation. Oversee all related activities surrounding the Distributed Pricing processes. Utilize experienced leadership skills to coach and develop team of managers while partnering cross-functionally to support business growth.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Translate leadership strategy into actionable tactics and objectives.

  • Communicate Distributed Pricing policy and position to drive positive outcomes and resolution.

  • Analyze, report, and optimize your team's pricing projects; provide insights into trends and discrepancies.

  • Identify process changes to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency.

  • Organize, plan, and recommend analyses and reports aligned with continuous improvement processes and procedures.

  • Engage in both functional and cross-functional team meetings.

  • Generate and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation.

Management responsibilities include:

  • Make strategic decisions with financial implications to drive business success.

  • Interpret and implement policies for departments and projects, developing new policies or modifying existing ones as needed.

  • Manage the hiring process, recommend pay increases, conduct performance reviews, and oversee the training and development of managers and their teams.

  • Manage the daily activities and performance of managers and their teams.

  • Ensure consistent application of organizational policies across the management team and their direct reports.

  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and enhance processes that align with  Medline's objectives.

  • Conduct for partnering with IS teams on process enhancements and automation (e.g. DDI)

  • Serve as escalation point and primary support  for customer relationship management.

  • Assess ROI, reporting, and insights on process efficiency and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Partner with Sr. leadership to solve business issues that strengthen pricing accuracy strategy. Provide tangible solutions and establish go-forward plans that support divisional growth.  

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in contract administration, customer pricing, or customer support

  • As least 2 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, and motivating, and directing people as they work.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems

  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates

  • Experience taking the steps to ensure the assignment/project is accomplished within tight timeframes

  • Experience with End-user in SAP

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience facilitating high-profile projects with aggressive deadlines and significant visibility from Medline and customer leadership

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
