Reporting to the Director, The Asset Performance Sr Advisor will be creating a sustained focus on value maximization through managing the financial, commercial, and administrative activities vital to ensure the optimization of the entire lifecycle of an asset.

This role will manage various obligations related to off take agreements, leases, financial agreements, contractor agreements, and maintain any joint venture governance agreements.

Working in a fast-paced environment in the Power business unit, the Sr Advisor will work independently, prioritize, deliver against deadlines, recommend, and reprioritize as needed. The role will also support the commercial integration of new development projects.

Please note: This is a fixed term position for approximately 12 - 15 months.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop long range planning and strategy to optimize entire lifecycle of asset. Maintain financial models.

  • Build sustained value by finding opportunities and making recommendations to gather them.

  • Act as a lead and/or support integrating, coordinating, and framing value trade-off decisions while coordinating with other teams in Power

  • Act as Contract Owner for all revenue agreements, joint venture agreements, management agreements, and support major service contracts ($1M+)

  • Supports the Director as needed with managing relationships with Joint Venture Partners

  • Provides support to Plant Managers and Operational Directors, technical support groups

  • Partners with other Power groups to support overall business relations (Operations Services, Technical Commercial Services, Engineering, Business Development, Origination Public Affairs, Compliance)

Who You Are:

  • You possess a University degree or related experience in finance, business, engineering. Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in renewable commercial operations or management of portfolio of assets

  • Strong facilitation, project management and analytical skills with the ability to establish good working relationships and communicate/work with employees at all levels of the organization and with external collaborators

  • Sophisticated computer technology skills and able to learn new systems quickly
