What You Will Do:

Provide strategic management and oversight of Automation and GenAI solutions as a service initially focused on revenue cycle activities as well as be an active contributor to the advancement of the Assessment capabilities across Commercial Healthcare.  Ensure execution of defined strategy and client deliverables supervise Associate Directors, Managers and Staff. Actively participate in market facing activities in order to be accretive to approximately $3M in revenue annually.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the overall Provider revenue cycle consulting services strategy to include:  (1) service offerings, (2) delivery methodology, (3) pricing strategy, (4) marketing/business development strategy, and (5) resource allocation as it relates to Automation and GenAI service offerings
  • Proactively identify and evaluate new service offerings based upon industry needs and develop plan to integrate into current service offerings
  • Identify consulting opportunities and build long term client relationships
  • Assist with identification of new engagement leads and closing of engagement opportunities
  • Provide executive oversight of client engagements and ensure expectations are clearly defined in the statement of work
  • Provide executive oversight related to development of consulting proposals to ensure engagement dynamics meet financial objectives
  • Proactive management of engagement economics including budget, unbilled and receivables
  • Assist Practice leadership with the development of standard methodologies, tools and templates for effective engagement execution
  • Ensure engagements are completed within the agreed upon scope, time and budget  and that client expectations are exceeded
  • Oversee consulting talent recruitment and development to ensure the consulting organization maintains diversified talent to meet broad client objectives
  •  Mentor and coach revenue cycle consulting Managers and staff
  •  Other duties as assigned

What You Will Need:

  • Ability to “see the big picture” and to help clients build out a strategy prior to identifying and establishing engagement objectives.
  • Proven ability to successfully plan, lead and execute multiple, complex engagements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a matrix environment which includes the ability to influence resources to adhere to work plans where there are competing priorities.
  • Deep functional experience in healthcare revenue cycle processes and technology
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing consultants in a variety of key skills including:  relationship management, project management, staffing, and execution.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Access & PowerPoint and understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Awareness of high level capabilities for advanced automation concepts (Conversational AI, Robotic Process Automation, GenAI, etc.)
  • Advanced experience with workflow automation toolsets
  • Experience implementing advanced and automated analytic solutions strongly desired
  • Minimum of 10 years healthcare revenue cycle exposure in the Healthcare Provider Market in similar roles
  • Relevant industry operational experience may substitute previous consulting requirement
  • Experience leading large scale business transformation projects or implementations
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels including hospital executives
  • Up to 80% or more travel
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college in business or a related discipline;

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 10 + yrs. in management consulting in automation and /or revenue cycle area
  • 15+ yrs. of relevant experience
  • Preference will be given to candidates near a Guidehouse Office

The annual salary range for this position is $190,900.00-$286,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
