Mission statement:

As an IT/OT Specialist you will provide Desk Side Support to IT users, for all IT matters requiring physical intervention. You will be responsible for supporting incident resolution by engaging with other support teams/groups within IT. You will also act as a representative of IT organization and face to the customer on behalf of other IT functions. As IT/OT Specialist you provide computer onsite support execution for factory or Hitachi energy site's owned/managed assets​ and operational support of both office IT and shop floor IT/OT assets that are not supported by the OSS techs. You carry out IT/OT Cybersecurity first responder tasks​ and IT/OT assets cybersecurity operational tasks​.

Your responsibilities:

• You will provide computer onsite support of execution for Factory ​or Hitachi energy site's owned/managed assets​, carry out OT asset IT/OT Cybersecurity operational tasks and carry out both, the Office IT and Shop Floor IT/OT assets operational support​.

• You will work on Kiosks, Printers, Conf Rooms/ Teams rooms, Vendor machines execution/ support which Global OSS techs are not supporting or are managed/owned by factory​, CCTV / security system, Badging, Scanners for MES hardware support.

• You will involve in carry out the IT/OT cybersecurity first responder tasks by investigate, determine the scope of the incident and work with the cybersecurity team to contain and remediate the incident, under guidance from the factory incident responder​.

• You will identify critical assets: for identify critical assets within the factory that require monitor and protection​.

• You will install and configure security patches on critical assets to protect the environment from security incidents, with additional assistance whenever required​ and report any abnormal behavior of OT systems: raise alerts to incident response teams in case of detect security event in the operational technology (OT) environment, such as unauthorize access attempt or change to control systems​.

• You will ensure that the security patches and OT systems are properly configure and maintained​ and implement security measures: implement security measures regarding business managed assets to ensure that the factory's IT/OT systems are secure and protected from potential security threat, under guidance of global cybersecurity teams and the factory process engineer​.

Your background:

• You hold completed a formal qualification or completed an apprenticeship in the field of information technology.

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in IT support.

• Good to have ITIL 4 and L6S Lean 6 Sigma Certified.

• Hands on experience in ServiceNow-Incident and Change Modules, Service Now IRM and OT Modules- Management tools and software that enable them to manage and monitor IT/OT systems effectively, Microsoft Office, Azure Cloud, Defender for IOT.

• Have a proactive and solution-oriented mind-set and have the ability to work independently and self-driven.

• Fluent English communication skills & good local language skills of the major country of responsibility.
