About the Role:
The Business Development Representative III is responsible for recruiting and enabling Advisors, MSPs, and VARs to sell a variety of suppliers and technologies within our portfolio, including UCaaS, CX, Connectivity, and SaaS applications. The Business Development Representative III demonstrates strong influencing skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal sales teams.
What You’ll Do:
Proactively seek out and explore potential partnership opportunities, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with selling partners and internal sales teams, ensuring their understanding of our diverse selling motions.
Continuously explore and develop new strategies and approaches to uncover business opportunities.
Act as a lead go-to person for sales personnel, providing support and guidance in dealing with customer inquiries, sales strategies, and business development opportunities.
Track and manage the vendor pipeline, including identifying and qualifying leads, and moving opportunities through the sales cycle.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify potential areas for growth.
Provide vendor onboarding training sessions, ensuring partners have a strong understanding of products and programs.
Attend industry-specific business trainings from vendors.
What We’re Looking For:
Prefer 2+ years of relevant experience, with an associate's degree in business, marketing, or related fields preferred; high school diploma required.
Strong understanding of the sales processes, procedures, and terminology needed for the recruitment and development of Technology Advisors
Willingness to travel as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentations and negotiation abilities.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior management and collaborate with diverse individuals and teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to task completion and ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Adaptability to change and ability to perform well under pressure.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Quick learner with proficiency in new systems and technology, including advanced computer skills.
Willingness to work non-standard hours or overtime occasionally.
