We are searching for the best talent for a Clinical Specialist - Trauma role to join our Orthopaedics team in the Central and Northern Regions of Israel.

This role requires a strong service orientation, the ability to operate under pressure, and a commitment to supporting procedures that have a direct and meaningful impact on patient lives. The position involves work around the clock, including on‑call duties, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on surgical needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Support in the OR
Provide real-time clinical and technical support during trauma surgeries (80–90% of the role), ensuring accurate product usage and contributing to optimal procedural outcomes.

• Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff; understand clinical workflows, needs, and pain points.

• Training & Education
Deliver high-quality training sessions, in-services, and educational materials to healthcare professionals and internal teams on product features, benefits, and best-use techniques.

• Product & Clinical Expertise
Develop deep expertise in the company’s trauma portfolio, staying current with new technologies, techniques, and clinical applications.

• Market & Competitive Insights
Gather and analyze insights regarding competitor activity, market dynamics, hospital protocols, and evolving trauma-care standards.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the sales team to support strategic objectives, provide clinical insights, and drive product adoption.

• Voice of Customer
Serve as a liaison between hospitals and internal functions, communicating feedback to support continuous product improvement and enhanced service delivery.

• Compliance & Quality Standards
Ensure full adherence to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and internal compliance guidelines; promote safe and effective product use at all times.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field – an advantage
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Strong learning agility and ability to master new technologies quickly
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and synthesize clinical studies and scientific literature within relevant research domains
  • Ability and willingness to work long, irregular hours, including on-call shifts, evenings, weekends, and frequent presence in operating rooms
  • High resilience, emotional maturity, and mental flexibility
  • Ability to perform under constant pressure and thrive in a fast-changing clinical environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and service-driven approach

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.
