Job Summary

The Credentials Coordinator is assigned the primary responsibility of medical staff credentialing activities and all related activities. This includes processing new appointments, and reappointments. Ensure thorough and timely verification of Licensed Independent Practitioner’s (LIPs) and Allied Health Professional (AHP) Staff credentialing and privileges according to the medical staff bylaws, credentials policies and procedures, managing ER call schedules, expireables, other related medical staff services functions.

Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

b. Minimum Experience Requirement:

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a directly related field required. Well-organized, ability to work independently with minimal supervision and detailed orientated. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards related to credentialing and privileging and other regulations.

c. Minimum License Requirement:

California Driver’s License required. CPSC or CPMSM NAMSS certification preferred.
