Full time - Permanent - 42.5hrs per week Including Company van and fuel card

This contract provides a 24-hour emergency repair service. This post offers the opportunity to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, which can potentially boost earnings by approximately £10k per annum, based on one week out of a four-week rota. Participation is optional and not mandatory.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced plumber to join the team in Eastbourne. Working with Lewes and Eastbourne Councils on a variety of residential works, working in occupied, void properties and communal areas, our team produce work to the highest standards and deliver outstanding customer service.

As a Plumber you will be required to have experience in all areas of  domestic maintenance plumbing: hot & cold water pipework, waste & drainage pipe work,  kitchen / bathroom / wet room  plumbing installations & repairs , hot and cold water storage systems  and emergency leak repairs

Response and maintenance plumber – will be dealing with supply pipe work, waste & soil pipework, sanitaryware,  kitchen appliances , tracing & fixing leaks and renewing plumbing components

Participate in call out cover if and when required to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.

Role Criteria:

  • UK Full driving licence
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent of plumbing qualification.
  • Good Communication skills
  • It literate
  • Ability to use PDA

Desirable:

  • G3 unvented hot water qualification
  • Previous experience working in domestic housing.
