Cabrillo Pet Hospital is looking for a personable and skilled Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! As the primary point of contact at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every client interaction—whether over the phone or in person—results in a positive and memorable impression. Your ability to create a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional service will be key to our success.  

  • Salary: $19 – 26 per hour depending on experience and education 
  • Schedule: Full-time, Four or Five 8-hour shifts + every other Saturday required  
  • Location: 4134 Voltaire St, San Diego, CA 92107

Cabrillo Pet Hospital is a team-focused, fun place to work and care for all the furry friends.  We are a large, multi-service practice offering veterinary services, boarding & day camp, and a pet store in beautiful San Diego, California.  We are proudly AAHA accredited and have been serving the Point Loma and Ocean Beach community since 1975.

Who You Are:  

If you have a professional, friendly personality and love to help people and their pets, you will fit right in with our Client Service Team!  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required  
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a veterinary, dental, or medical clinical setting required 
  • 1+ years using a Point-of Sale (POS) system preferred 
  • Experience processing financial transactions, payment plans, billing and insurance preferred 
  • Avimark PIMS Knowledge 
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures preferred 
  • Technologically proficient and comfortable with veterinary or medical record keeping software and other digital communication tools 
  • Professional and friendly phone etiquette   
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Very detail-oriented  
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced, client-facing environment 
  • Ensure a clean, safe and organized work environment
