A Day in the Life

We are looking to add a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and curious Expense Analyst to join Medtronic’s Employee Expense Management Team. This role is focused on delivering exceptional internal customer service while supporting finance operations. The Expense Analyst will serve as a key point of contact for internal customers, providing support related to SAP Concur, AMEX, Citibank transactions, and employee expense processes. You will partner with both Finance and Non-Finance employees to resolve inquiries, ensure compliance, and improve user experience.

This position requires a strong service mindset combined with analytical capabilities. You will collaborate with multicultural, cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization. As part of a Regional Finance team, you will support users across the Globe, contributing to efficient and scalable expense management processes. The role will be flexwork model in Bogotá.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Own key Expense Management processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment application to corporate card providers (e.g., AMEX, Citibank, Bank of America)
• Act as a main point of contact for internal stakeholders, building strong relationships and resolving payment issues, inquiries, and escalations
• Analyze expense and payment data (e.g., SAP Concur, corporate card transactions) to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement
• Proactively manage and follow up on requests through ServiceNow and email, ensuring timely resolution and high service standards
• Maintain and improve process documentation to support consistency, scalability, and operational excellence

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or administrative areas
• Fluent in English level
• Three years’ relevant experience in a customer facing role that included data sensitive
• Advanced experience working with Excel
• Maintains strong communication with cross-functional internal partners and customers
• Demonstrated organization skills and highly detail and process oriented
• Strives to continually improve processes, possesses critical thinking and intellectual curiosity

• SAP Concur experience and Portuguese language skills is advantageous
