Job Description

Your Team

You will be joining the Investment Data Risk and Performance Technology (IDRP) team within the Investments Technology department. This role sits in the DIAL squad (Data Integration and Access Layer), where you will collaborate with business and technology colleagues to empower Invesco investment teams with accurate and insightful data. Your Role

You will be part of a global squad that designs, develops, and supports risk solutions. Alongside technical implementation, you will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver successful outcomes. As part of a results-oriented team, you will be encouraged to explore innovative solutions while balancing the demands of a fast-paced environment with the need for lightweight, reliable, and scalable systems.


You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Working directly with global business partners and stakeholders to understand data requirements
  • Collaborating with software developers and business analysts to deliver technical solutions
  • Completing technical analysis, development, unit testing, QA, system testing, and implementation in line with Agile practices
  • Adhering to documentation, coding, and quality standards
  • Understanding business needs and recommending technology solutions to improve efficiency
  • Proposing application architectures to troubleshoot issues and enhance production processes
  • Performing business analysis to ensure solutions meet user requirements
  • Adopting open-source technologies where appropriate
  • Upskilling and mentoring junior team members
  • Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Preparing documentation for ongoing system support
  • Handling escalations from support teams
  • Participating in on-call rotations

The Experience You Bring:

  • 3–7 years of experience in technology
  • Programming experience in Python and RESTful APIs
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, EKS, ECS, CloudWatch)
  • Familiarity with FastAPI and GraphQL (preferred)
  • Experience building AI agents using AWS Bedrock (preferred)
  • Experience with building Bitbucket pipelines (preferred)
