Your role at Clorox:

The Credit and Collections Supervisor is responsible for the operation of TOP Countries portfolio with the primary goal of maximizing cash flow while the overdue and the bad debt is minimized/eliminated.
The Supervisor must prevent non-payment topics using Order to Cash process and SAP system knowledge breaking internal and external obstacles/barriers that compromising the targets and escalate as appropriate.
Leadership is a must with the analyst team, being responsible of supervise, train, and motivate collection/credit specialists, ensuring that collections processes are efficient, compliant, and effective, sets and manages priorities based on goals on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. This position is constantly looking for process improvements and automations.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and Implement collection strategies such as, portal vs portfolio reconciliation for an assigned TOP countries in an operative and management environment, activities like, payments application, write off, processing credit memos or any legal document in the country as needed, ensuring compliance with company policy and legal requirements., ensuring compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze identifying non payments trends and independently carry out claim management. Adhere to all financial policies/controls/legal rules, and promote a high degree of corporate responsibility. 
  • Responsible for motivating, evaluating, and developing personnel. Provides coaching and mentoring to team members. Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problematic conditions that require escalation. 
  • Be the SPOC of the area, providing knowledge for process improvement,  in areas related to OTC such as Logistics, Sales, Marketing, as well the leader in the projects related of system changes internal and external audits. 
  • Be the main point of contact for client creditworthiness assessment practices, credit limits calculation processes, and constantly devise strategies to mitigate risk. 
  • Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department. 

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

  • 5+ years FMCG Collections experience in Retail, Clubs and Wholesalers channels.

  • Account reconciliation skills/experience. 

  • Experience in a supervisory role with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment, including developing training programs for staff. 

  • SAP strong knowledge.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of OTC process.

  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented

  • Commitment to excellent customer service

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to multi-task on a variety of continuous improvement projects; Able to work independently and adaptability and skills to work remotly with different teams, cultures, enviroments and time zones

Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
