We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal.
Your Role
As a UI/UX Designer your role will involve,
You will be an advocate for a user-centric innovation process, establishing and promoting UX Design as a core discipline in our organization. You will play a key role in determining the user experience of our digital platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience that maximizes business value.
In your role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - including product owners, developers, market stakeholders, and business leads - to translate complex business and technical requirements into user-centered designs.
Your work will ensure that the user experience of our products is consistent, accessible, and aligned with customer and business needs, from initial discovery and concept through to high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications. This includes driving workshops, collecting feedback through usability testing, and iterating designs based on insights and analytics.
Main tasks
Identifying opportunities for the business through research findings and usage data
Guiding teams in shaping and implementing state-of-the art solutions whether that is new platforms or new features
Demonstrate the value and impact of a user-centred design process by applying your hands-on design skills
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final visual designs for core flows
Bring user insights into decision-making via usability testing, stakeholder feedback, and analytics reviews.
Prepare screen flows and design assets ready for development handover, including responsive behaviour and edge-case handling.
Your Profile
You will have:
5+ years of professional experience in User Experience (UX) design, resulting in a portfolio that demonstrates:
A broad design skillset ranging from conceptualizing high-level concepts to translating them into valuable and implementable digital products
Advanced skills in design tools such as Figma and Sketch
A track record of bringing concepts to life, turning UI designs into high quality full functional digital products or services.
Experience with DesignOps, e.g. managing and developing UI pattern libraries and style guides
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Collaborative, user-centred mindset, with ability to co-create with stakeholders across business, product, and tech.
Experience facilitating workshops using Design Thinking methods to uncover user pain points and shape solutions.
A passion for data-driven decision-making and ability to root design decisions in a profound understanding of the user – experience with hands-on research is a plus
Familiarity with data-driven design: using usage analytics, feedback loops, and usability testing to improve flows and interfaces.
Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills in English (German a plus), with the ability to create high-impact presentations and explain design rationale to non-designers.
