Position Overview:

Boeing India Finance team is currently looking for Experienced Payroll Specialist — India Payroll to join their team in Bengaluru, India.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end India payroll runs ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • oversee pre-payroll validations, data cleansing, and exception handling to minimize rework.
  • Reconcile payroll outputs, investigate post-payroll discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors (e.g., CloudPay, TCS) and internal platform owners (Workday, ServiceNow) for integration issues, configuration clarifications and incident resolution.
  • Maintain and update detailed payroll process documentation and transaction-level work instructions.
  • Support testing and deployment of payroll system changes, patches and enhancements; validate results and document outcomes.
  • Produce regular payroll reports and support KPI tracking; escalate trends and risks to the manager.
  • Support onboarding and training of TCS payroll team members and act as a subject matter resource for payroll queries.
  • Ensure compliance with India payroll regulations, tax rules and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest operational improvements, automation opportunities and control enhancements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as Basic Qualification.
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business or related field preferred.
  • 9+ years of hands-on payroll experience, with demonstrated experience in India payroll processes.
  • Practical experience with at least one global payroll platform and vendor-managed payroll environments.
  • Prior exposure to payroll reconciliations, statutory compliance and payroll reporting.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Strong knowledge of India payroll legislation, statutory filings and tax requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll platforms and tools — familiarity with CloudPay, Workday and ServiceNow advantageous.
  • Solid skills in payroll calculations, benefits, deductions, off-cycle payments, and corrections.
  • Proficient in post-payroll reconciliation and troubleshooting with sound analytical capability to resolve complex exceptions.
  • Understanding of upstream HR data flows (time and attendance, benefits, HRIS) and downstream integrations to finance and statutory reporting.
  • Experience with payroll reporting, data extracts and basic data manipulation (spreadsheet proficiency).

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and 9 or more years' related work experience.
