The Development Operations Associate (Temporary) will manage development data and operational systems that support fundraising for the Office of the Arts (OA). This role ensures accurate donor records, timely gift processing, and reliable information for the Development team, Business and Accounting departments.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Coordinate customer relationship management processes, including: creating pledge agreement letters, (e)mailing invoices and pledge reminders as necessary, generating gift acknowledgement letters, and documenting all activity in the donor database.
  • Field giving inquiries from subscribers and donors by providing professional and responsive customer service; resolve online giving and gift processing issues.
  • Maintain accurate donor records in Spektrix and collaborate with Advancement Services to ensure corresponding information in Raiser’s Edge is current and consistent.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation between Spektrix and Raiser’s Edge to ensure accuracy of donor records, gift entries, and coding across both systems.
  • Track gifts weekly and report progress towards OA Development Department fundraising goals.
  • Manage the execution of the Annual Giving solicitation plans, including direct mail, printing, email, and crowdfunding: prepare and send mailings and emails.
  • Maintain and manage donor stewardship efforts, including fulfillment of levels and benefits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

QUALIFICATIONS – Qualifications are deemed required or preferred and represent what is needed to effectively perform job.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with fast-paced fundraising, sales or marketing preferred; experience with donor database preferred, such as Raiser’s Edge, Audience View, or Salesforce preferred. Student work experience will be considered.
  • Experience in managing donor/prospect databases effectively, analytical skills, and ability to multitask
