Summary: As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements using Oracle Database Administration. Your typical day will involve working with the development team, analyzing business requirements, and designing and implementing solutions to meet those requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design and implement solutions to meet those requirements. - Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performance and scalability. - Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability and disaster recovery. - Provide technical support and guidance to development teams and end-users on database-related issues. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database technologies such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. - Solid understanding of database architecture, design, and implementation. - Experience with database tuning and optimization techniques. - Experience with database backup and recovery procedures. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Pune office.
