About the Team

The Enterprise SEO Team ensures that Lowe’s digital experiences are optimized for discoverability, relevance, and performance across all search channels. The team delivers consistent, data-driven optimization of site content, metadata, and technical elements while conducting ongoing competitive analysis.

Partnering closely with Business, Product, Content, Site Operations, and Technology teams, SEO ensures that digital assets remain accurate, search-friendly, and aligned with customer intent, ultimately strengthening visibility and organic growth across Lowes.com.

Job Summary

As a Senior Analyst, you will be the go-to data analytics expert for the SEO team. The role requires strong focus on data analysis, performance tracking and measurement to uncover actionable insights and growth opportunities. The person will work in a fast-paced environment, digging deep into performance drivers and translating data into practical recommendations that drive key SEO and business metrics.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Analytics & Reporting: Responsible for hands-on work across all stages of data-driven solutions – from data extraction from various sources, through data wrangling and aggregation, to building dashboards, reports, and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Utilize tools like SQL, Power BI/Looker, Python, and enterprise SEO platforms to extract, process, and analyse large datasets and build scalable reporting structures.
  • Work on data-led governance and optimization by analysing audience behaviour, traffic sources, landing page performance, and keyword trends.
  • Help the team in transforming complex data into actionable recommendations across business units, ensuring enterprise-wide impact.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to answer critical business and leadership questions, providing clear, timely insights and evidence-backed recommendations.
  • Analytics innovation: Proactively identify new analysis use cases and opportunities to improve efficiency (e.g., automation, advanced modelling, forecasting) that enable deeper, repeatable insight generation.
  • Development and maintenance of SEO dashboards and visualizations that enable timely, strategic decisions and stakeholder visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Content, Marketing, Product) as an analytics partner, ensuring SEO and other digital initiatives are guided by robust measurement frameworks and clear KPIs.
  • Maintain accountability for SEO strategy and execution, including content optimization, technical hygiene, and off-page strategies, while closely monitoring KPIs.
  • Present insights and recommendations through structured storytelling and performance summaries with internal stakeholders as well as leadership in a clear, business-friendly manner.

Years of Experience:

  • 4 +years of relevant experience in an analytics-focused role in a Retail/E-commerce or agency environment.
  • Background in SEO or digital/marketing/product analytics role is preferred.
  • Experience in working with US-based companies or stakeholders/clients (preferred).

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Engineering, Business, (or a related field) is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Digital Marketing, or Business is an added advantage.

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
  • Practical experience with data visualization and BI tools, especially Power BI and Looker Studio.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proficiency with web analytics and measurement tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into strategic action.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-impact projects across teams.

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Familiarity with SEO platforms (Google Search Console, Botify, SEMrush).
  • Understanding of Generative AI tools and how to leverage them for SEO.
  • Interest/exposure to advanced analytics techniques such as time-series forecasting, regression modelling, etc.
  • Exposure to modern data pipelines and analytics stack (e.g., scheduled queries, Airflow, Google BigQuery, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in third-party/publisher tools for measurement.
