Project Management Specialist - Special Operations Forces

Boeing Global Services (BGS) U.S. Army/Marine Corps & Special Operations/Missions is seeking a Project Management Specialist to lead the Special Operations Forces (SOF) mission at our Fort Walton Beach (FWB), FL site. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans, integrates, and leads programs in support of the Senior PM, SOF programs
  • Maintains active relationships with USG (SOF) and Commercial customers
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes impacting programs
  • Works closely with multiple vertical and horizontal functions to successfully execute programs
  • Establishes budgets, schedules and performance requirements and leads teams in attaining them
  • Applies knowledge of Program Management Best Practices to direct program activities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years’ experience and a broad understanding of the SOCOM mission and organization or Air Force or Army Special Operations Maintenance experience
  • Aircraft Maintenance Experience – C-130 platform
  • Knowledge and experience with the Proposal Preparation process (Basis of Estimates (BOE) spreadsheet/e-workbooks)
  • Knowledge and experience with Common Automated Procurement Request System (CAPRS), CMPro Product Lifecycle and Configuration Management Experience (a system/tool used by FWB programs to track/manage all workorders, engineering drawings, documents, etc)
  • Boeing Opportunity, Risk, and Issue System (BORIS) or RIO Experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with SOF ground vehicles
  • Working knowledge of the C-130 Interactive Electronic Technical Manual
  • Earned Value Management knowledge and experience
  • FWB Manufacturing Process knowledge and experience

Summary pay range: $132,600 - $179,400
