Role Summary/Purpose:

The AVP NCI Program Manager is responsible for leading the integration of new customers into CareCredit healthcare specialties and hospital systems.  This includes, but not limited to developing the business and launch strategy and partnering internally and externally to determine the best implementation, testing and launch plan.  This role also oversees the execution of the implementation plan and assembles and manages the cross-functional “launch team”.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the effective and efficient execution of NCIs in the CareCredit organization, primarily within health and hospital systems.

  • With healthcare industry knowledge, validates initial program scope and understands and articulates the requirements for implementation.  Makes recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business results or strategic intent.

  • Maintains continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.  Influences and makes program recommendations at executive stakeholder level. Sets strategy for minimizing impact and risk to the client due to project changes.

  • Identifies and interprets risks from dependent work streams and client requirements. Understands how they impact the program and mitigates the risks. Communicates risks and plans to project stakeholders.

  • Aligns all dependencies from program work streams.

  • Proactively coordinates resource planning and optimization of implementation schedules, monitoring and adjusting assignments as necessary.

  • Acts as an escalation point to address resource constraints in order to minimize impact to the program.

  • Establishes and owns program communication plan: Consolidates, manages and executes project communication plans into program communications plan for all stakeholders and work streams.

  • Responsible for meeting contractual performance criteria and due dates during service delivery and overall project completion. Holds all workstreams accountable for their deliverables.  Takes accountability for program execution results.

  • Demonstrates ability to diffuse uncomfortable situations with client and/or project teams.

  • Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies.

  • Instills trust with clients by building strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Leverages business acumen and political savvy as well as relevant personal and professional experience to build credibility.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in the Healthcare or Financial Services industry

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing and leading cross- functional large-scale program implementations and managing and leading risk management activities on projects

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in partner/client facing capacity

  • Proficient in MS Project, Power Point and Excel

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree

  • Experience working within the hospital ecosystem with knowledge of the patient journey

  • 3 years of Project management experience

  • Understanding of healthcare business systems and processes

  • Familiarity with hospital operations

  • Strong leadership and rigorous project management skills with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a high-speed, quickly changing business environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability working cross-functionally and influencing key decision makers

  • Strong Quality/process improvement experience

  • Ability to lead large, diverse, and geographically distributed project teams

  • A strong degree of self-initiation

  • Knowledge of HealthCare financing programs

  • PMP certification desired

Grade/Level: 11

                                                                                      

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 - 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

                                 

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
