Context of the role

As a part of the Solution Delivery team at Thunes you will be responsible for managing integration projects between Thunes and its partners in Europe and Africa.

You will be the point of contact for those clients willing to integrate payment solutions through our API. This will include providing technical guidance on the Thunes platform, the required integration and best practices and standards.

This role will require prior project management experience (from the scope definition, through testing, setting up technical environment to live monitoring, post integration support) and will include reading logs and requests, running tests, configure the partner in our systems etc. The integrations can be many and varied, from relatively simple to more complex reverse API/middleware integrations.

The role will also involve ensuring that all integrations and processes behind are correctly documented.

The role may require the flexibility to adapt to other time zones and to travel abroad occasionally.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Fluency in English. French and local African languages are a strong plus.
  • IT/Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in working with partner integration projects.
  • Prior experience with Fintech/ Ecommerce/ Payments ideally in project management roles.
  • Familiarity with RestAPI and Json XML.
  • Ability to communicate with partners at business and technical level including software engineers.
  • Motivated and focused self-starter with leadership skills who can multi-task, work independently or within a team.
  • Strong organisational, presentation, and communication skills. Experience of working in globally distributed teams
