Job Description

P&G is seeking a talented and experienced attorney to join its Legal organization at the Company’s Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.  This lawyer will support P&G’s One Health brands and product portfolios, directly counseling the business on legal strategy and compliance with various commercial, advertising, regulatory, trademark, and digital and privacy laws, and working with subject matter experts in our specialty practice groups on a variety of legal issues. Experience with FDA-regulated products is preferred specifically experience with over-the-counter drugs, dietary supplements, and/or medical devices. 

P&G attorneys work directly with clients to solve problems creatively and determine how best to manage the client’s legal needs across critically important, as well as challenging and rapidly evolving, legal spaces. The role of P&G Senior Legal Counsel requires strong coordination and collaboration with internal clients in a variety of functions, and other members of P&G’s global legal division. Agility, flexibility, creativity, and a growth mindset are critical elements of the position.

Job Qualifications

P&G looks for well-rounded attorneys, with leadership skills, vision and energy.  A successful candidate must have:

• A J.D. with outstanding academic performance. 
• 2 to 7 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a law firm, in-house, government or other legal department.
• Membership in at least one state bar, with the ability to become a member of the Ohio bar.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, as well as the ability to work as a member of a high-performing team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and very strong problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Experience with U.S. FDA law (OTC monograph, dietary supplements, and medical devices)
