Our Technology Centres focus on creating a space where teams can come together to deliver business solutions that save and improve lives. An integral part of our company's IT operating model, Tech Centres are globally distributed locations where each IT division has employees to enable our digital transformation journey and drive business outcomes. These locations, in addition to the other sites, are essential to supporting our business and strategy.

A focused group of leaders in each Tech Center helps ensure we can manage and improve each location, from investing in the growth, success, and well-being of our people to making sure colleagues from each IT division feel a sense of belonging, to managing critical emergencies. Together, we must leverage the strength of our team to collaborate globally to optimize connections and share best practices across the Tech Centres.

Role Overview

Help us build the Integration enterprise platform—and make hundreds of engineers happier every day. We’re building something ambitious: a federated Integration Platform that gives developers and data teams intuitive, self‑service way to consume, with real‑time insights—all wrapped in secure, scalable automation.

If you love creating frictionless engineering experiences, designing systems that “just work,” and turning complex platform capabilities into simple, joyful interfaces, you’ll feel right at home.

Security matters deeply here—every workflow, every policy, every interaction. You’ll help bake in security-by-design while still keeping things fast and developer-friendly.

What will you do

Lead with experience and systems thinking: You’ll create the core elements of the Integration Platform—modular interfaces, intuitive onboarding flows, clear access patterns, and simple ways to understand platform health and status. Your focus will be on making complicated things feel easy and predictable

Turn complexity into clarity: You’ll design self-service experiences and workflows that abstract away the hard parts of provisioning, accessing, and integrating with platforms. You’ll translate logs, events, and orchestration outputs into signals that humans can understand instantly

Create patterns that scale: You’ll collaborate with platform users across divisions to define standards, shared contracts, and consistent ways of working. Your work will help dozens of teams move faster, avoid duplication, and trust the systems they rely on

Give people insight and confidence: You’ll help enable meaningful dashboards, telemetry views, and signals that tell users what’s happening, why it matters, and what they should do next—whether they’re engineers, analysts, or leader

Explore better ways of working with AI: You’ll look for opportunities to augment engineering experiences with AI: better guidance, smarter recommendations, clearer context, and more natural interactions. And you’ll help ensure this is done responsibly and securely

Be a partner and facilitator: You’ll work closely with architects, engineers to understand their needs, align on problems, test ideas quickly, and close the loop with clear updates. You’ll help create a working culture that values communication, curiosity, and continuous learning

Provide leadership through clarity and empathy: You’ll guide others toward better UX patterns, stronger security practices, and more coherent platform standards. You’ll help shape technical direction while balancing multiple perspectives: users, platform owners, security, and business goals

What should you have

  • A strong engineering background with experience in platform engineering, developer tooling, or internal platforms
  • A mindset focused on usability, clarity, simplification, and systems design—not just implementation
  • Comfort moving across technologies and learning new tools as needed
  • An automation-oriented approach and familiarity with modern Platform Engineering & DevOps practices
  • Experience designing experiences for developers or internal users through portals, workflows, APIs, or tooling
  • A security-first mindset: understanding identity, access, guardrails, and secure patterns
  • Experience creating meaningful telemetry and insights for users
  • Strong communication skills: the ability to facilitate workshops, explain decisions, gather feedback, and guide others
  • Comfort working in Scrum and in evolving environments

Primary (Core) Skills

  • Platform Engineering / DevOps
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
  • Cloud Platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
  • CI/CD and automation practices
  • Scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent)

Secondary (Good-to-Have) Skills

  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Monitoring and observability tools
  • Exposure to Agile environments
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools

What success looks like

  • Onboarding and provisioning feel fast, intuitive, and self-service by default
  • Engineering experience consistency across shared patterns, predictable workflows, and clear guardrails
  • Platform owners benefit from reusable contracts, aligned patterns, and reduced operational friction
  • Users can quickly understand platform health, usage, cost, and compliance through meaningful signals
  • Whether through UI, API, CLI, or SDK, the experience feels coherent, reliable, and well‑documented
  • AI improves discoverability, guidance, and everyday workflows
  • Teams feel heard—feedback loops are fast, transparent, and meaningful
  • You are seen as a key voice in shaping the experience layer and aligning teams around shared standards
