Role: Senior Associate Accounts Receivable

Location: Monterrey, Mexico

Full/ Part-time: Full-time. Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

On-site Requirement: This role requires working from the office at least 3 days per week.

About the role

Are you passionate about maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring the financial health of an organization? As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s cash flow through effective credit and collection strategies. Your work will ensure accuracy in receivables and contribute to a strong and efficient financial operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and overseeing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies efficiently.
• Monitoring aging reports and following up on overdue accounts.
• Collaborating with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to resolve billing issues.
• Preparing and analyzing AR reports for management review.
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Training and mentoring junior AR team members.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
