Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect with a proven track record in designing, developing, and deploying complex IoT (Internet of Things) and IIoT (Industrial IoT) solutions. In this critical role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of GCP IoT services, data management, and DevOps principles to architect and deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that drive substantial business value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of IoT/IIoT solutions on GCP, translating business requirements into robust technical blueprints that prioritize performance, scalability, security, and cost optimization.

Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards within the GCP ecosystem.

Customer Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and goals, crafting customized IoT solutions that address their specific needs and surpass expectations.

Implementation & Deployment: Oversee the seamless implementation and deployment of GCP-based IoT solutions, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to the highest quality standards.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and operational guides. Share knowledge and expertise through internal training sessions and workshops.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay at the forefront of advancements in GCP IoT and related technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.

Technical Responsibilities:

Proven Experience: Minimum 12+ years of hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, with at least 4 years focused on architecting and implementing IoT solutions.

Deep Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in GCP IoT Core, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Armor, Cloud Logging/Monitoring, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Manufacturing Connect, Manufacturing Data Engine, Firebase

Strong Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, Go (Golang), or Node.js.

Database Migration Experience:

Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Problem-Solving Acumen: A passion for tackling intricate challenges and devising elegant solutions.

Collaborative Spirit: A track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Google Cloud Data Fusion and Cloud Build.

Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect).

Experience working directly with manufacturing clients or in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus).
