Supplies North America Program Manager

Description -

  • This role is part of Supplies North-America Category Team. The team is reporting into Print GBU and is in charge of managing the Profit & Loss for HP Toner & Ink cartridges in the US & Canada.
  • The candidate will be responsible for actively contributing to defining the category business plan and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure its seamless execution. The role gathers insights into product categories, business challenges, and customer needs, and translates them into actionable improvements.
  • Collaborates with sales teams on Managed Print Services commercial programs, develops and drives external sales trainings catered to partner needs and company objectives
  • Leads bi-annual $45M contra budget deployment for North America partners; collaborating with sales and finance to align funds to category initiatives 
  • Manages YoY contra savings across NA programs; explains and defends contra saving trends to leadership 
  • Owns financial spend and establishes yearly budget with finance
  • Drives quarterly Tier-2 sales trainings on HP competitive insights, incorporates in-market win back initiatives
  • Leveraged big data for T2 partner insights out to market


Responsibilities

  • Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to align strategies, drive successful product launches, and ensure seamless execution of category plans.
  • Utilize advanced sales analytics tools to derive actionable insights from sales data, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategy refinement.
  • Participates in defining the category business plan and strategies with the manager to drive growth and profitability.
  • Holds responsibility for product line and quota management limited to low complexity and low impact product range or customer segment.
  • Conduct in-depth external market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences within the category, using insights to inform sales approaches.
  • Gathers understanding of product categories, business management, and sales challenges/strategies.
  • Collects and analyzes customer feedback and data to understand customer needs, pain points, and improvement areas and translates them into actionable insights to enhance future deliverables.
  • Assists in functional responsibilities in areas such as market analysis, marketing engagement, etc.
  • Communicates and builds relationships with individuals at various levels within the sales team

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $112,350 to $169,650 annually, with a 80/20 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
