Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who is versed with Fintech, enjoys working with data and is a customer champion. You’ll be working with an exciting team that focuses on reporting and data needs of some of the largest merchants and partners with PayPal. No matter where merchants engage with us, we’re dedicated to meeting them where they are and providing solutions that propel their business forward.
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our data reporting product line. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical acumen and a proven track record in product management. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in product management, preferably with products that require payment data synchronization capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision:

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data sharing enabling financial and operational reconciliation.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Use data-driven insights about experience, integration gaps and customer pain points to brainstorm and build solutions enabling seamless reconciliation.

Product Development:

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business and customer impact.
  • Provide the year long product visions and strategies for their team, while also providing clear, iterative roadmaps to realize it. Build and maintain healthy scrum regime
  • Use data and research to evaluate your product’s impact, and push for continuous improvement that shows tangible results.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including platform, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful product launches and ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholder on data, infrastructure, integrations, and reconciliation.   
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product-related queries and updates.

Customer Focus:

  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for product improvements.
  • Ensure the product delivers exceptional user experience and meets customer performance expectations.

Metrics & Analysis:

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct regular product performance reviews and implement necessary adjustments to meet targets.

Compliance & Security:

  • Ensure that our products meets all regulatory, compliance, and security requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for low latency and data synchronization technologies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, with a focus on low latency and high data sync products.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with engineering teams.
  • Proven experience in defining product requirements, writing user stories, and managing product backlogs.
  • Excellent, data, problem solving, critical-thinking skills, and decision-making skills.   
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Payment products, or data reconciliation is a plus.
  • At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually, and collaborating across teams.   
  • Understanding of standard accounting terminology and principles. 
  • Experience in financial services, B2B or B2C e-commerce is preferred.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$84500 to $204600
