1. Possess an advanced understanding of contemporary recruiting techniques - utilizes knowledge and skills to develop trusted relationships built on acumen, proactive communication, credibility, trust, and results.
2. Aligned to multiple hiring managers, lines of businesses and/or functional groups; manage a diverse,
end-to-end portfolio of job requisitions from sourcing to hire.
3. Work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, matrix environment utilizing executive-level written verbal, and presentation skills that influence and advise key stakeholders
4. Partner with HR teams such as Total Rewards, Talent, Strategy, Enablement to provide recommendations for hiring and retaining top talent.
5. Advise, consult, and prepare attractive, fiduciary sound and equitable offers for internal and external talent
6. Maintain deep and contemporary working knowledge of the enterprise and line of business or functional group internal strategic plans, priorities, and talent needs.
7. Provide continuous and credible industry, market, and peer group research to specify proactive, value-added insight to leaders, partners, and stakeholders to further support the Truist talent strategy
8. Have a keen awareness to all areas of risk management
9. Serve as coach and mentor for teammates with less experience within the talent and recruiting team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
1. A minimum of 5 years of professional level recruiting experience including relevant mid-to-senior level recruiting experience with demonstrated success in managing a full-cycle, passive candidate search process or 3 years HR experience, to include interaction with senior level managers that includes broad talent management and/or talent acquisition experience.
2. Ability to clearly articulate the Truist Teammate Value Proposition, Purpose/Mission/Values, and strategic competitive advantages of Truist
3. Ability to clearly articulate the Truist vision and strategic plan and the specific talent initiatives in the assigned line of business or functional group
4. Strong recruiting risk and compliance knowledge and understanding, business acumen and organizational savvy necessary to understand and anticipate future business and talent needs.
5. Ability to think critically, conceptually, and strategically while maintaining a results-driven approach.
6. Ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, excellent time management skills
7. Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills; the ability to inspire and persuade
8. Consistent delivery of crisp, poised, and trusted executive presence fostering credibility and confidence.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working in the financial services industry.
2. Strong business consulting skills including persuasion, ideation, and influence.
3. Previous recruiting experience working in an OFCCP-regulated industry.
4. Previous experience working for a recruiting search firm (contingent or retained)
5. Expert at using databases such as Workday, Phenom, and other recruiting platforms; internet mining techniques to surface passive candidates and building talent pools
6. Prefer experience recruiting for Commercial and/or Corporate Banking or similar environment
