This role reports directly into the Executive Manager of Media Planning within Marketing and Corporate Affairs, within our Paid and Owned Centre of Excellence, who collectively define and execute paid owned and earned media and channel plans.

Your impact

  • Contributing to the definition and guidance of media channel plans & investment across all platforms.

  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to established channel principles.

  • Developing, guiding, and advising on media plans for marketing initiatives.

On any given day, you will:

  • Develop and execute the group's media strategy and investment plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Contribute to the formulation and enforcement of channel strategy principles for the group.

  • Work with marketing managers to create robust briefs including required relevant information for our agency partner

  • Manage and nurture the Group’s relationship with media agencies, ensuring high-quality outputs, innovative channel planning, and value creation across the CBA Marketing team.

  • Manage internal marketing manager stakeholders, with media plan approvals

  • Collaborate with agency partners to foster strong relationships and secure first-to-market opportunities, optimising data usage for superior campaign delivery.

  • Deliver executional excellence, ensuring media plans are being planned, bought and delivered to plan. Approve channel tracking & pacing from agency, ensuring plans hit agreed objectives.

We’d love to hear from people who demonstrates:

  • Significant experience in a media agency or relevant media planning role.

  • In-depth knowledge of the media landscape and evolving trends.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, negotiate, and influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Strategic thinker, capable of building and delivering media and marketing plans aligned to key business metrics.

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with an ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.

  • Proactive and self-driven, with a positive attitude and a creative, pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

  • Highly numerate with strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring flawless campaign execution.
