Summary:

This position is responsible for providing technical support to end-users and other IT support groups in relation to network services. Monitors network to ensure network availability to all system users and performs necessary maintenance to support network availability. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordinations hardware and software.

Responsibilities:

Performs routine security audits in order to assess network performance and identify areas for improvement.Monitors and controls network systems to ensure adherence with established routines and regulations.Assists with the installation, configuration, and support of operating systems and networks and troubleshoots applications.Provides resolution for network problems to ensure smooth operation of organization's network services.Supports the translation of business requirements into network or process designs and improvements.Provides assistance in network planning, engineering, architecture and the development of technical standards and interface applications.

Complexity of Work: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Required Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in network solutions including WAN, LAN, Performance Monitoring, security, and VOIP. Other Information: Relevant work experience may substitute for education requirement. Preferred CCNA certification.Additional Education Info: Information Technology and Systems, or related field. Relevant work experience may substitute for education requirement.
